Our client is the successful operator of numerous holiday parks located
throughout the UK.
They have a requirement to fill various vacancies for up and coming Leisure
Managers throughout their network of sites, interviews will be held in
January.
Responsibilities
- To assist with the operation of the leisure department within the Park, to
include Indoor/Outdoor Pools, Flumes and Slides, Playgrounds, a wide range of
Sports and Coaching activities, including Archery, Trampolines, Climbing Walls,
Bouncy Castles, Football, Kwik Cricket, Hire of Mountain Bikes/Karts, Golf
lessons, Multi Sports courts, Boating, Health Suite (inc Gym, Sauna, Steam Room,
Spa ) Arts and Crafts centre, and other associated activities.
- Ensuring strict Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times
by providing a safe and secure environment for all customers; both internal and
external in all of the above areas of the business (especially in high risk
areas such as swimming pools)
- Working within desired budgets for all areas of the business; including cash
control, invoice payment, stock ordering and stock takes
- Marketing of sports activities (both wet and dry); including driving income,
raising guest participation, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Management of team in all areas of the business; including team training,
appraisals, discipline procedures, contracts and pay, Holidays and Sickness,
Rota's
- Provide "Cutting Edge" Standards and services to our guests by ensuring all
areas of the business meet our customer's needs and expectations
- Operation of poolside equipment and plant room maintenance, including;
ensuring a high quality of water for our guests at all times, resolving any
problems that may arise, dealing with dangerous chemicals effectively and safely
at all times in accordance with the C.O.S.H.H. regs
- Writing of procedures and operating manuals for the relevant areas of the
business; ie all activities, emergency procedures,
- Take control of 1st aid on parks (from ensuring boxes are fully stocked to
dealing with any serious situations that may arise)
The successful candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years managerial experience within the leisure industry
- Pool Plant and Lifeguard Qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- HSE 1st Aid and HSE 1st Aid Trainer Assessor (desired)
- Some Sports Coaching qualifications (desired)

Starting Salary is c£17K, the position also includes subsidised accommodation
on site.
