Bookkeeper (Part-time), Kilmarnock

We are recruiting for an experienced bookkeeper to join our busy recruitment office. We are looking for a motivated person who has the experience to provide an exceptional bookkeeping service to the company and a high level of customer service to our clients. As well as bookkeeping duties you will also be responsible for providing efficient administrative support to the company and undertake reception duties. This role is being offered on 14 hours per week – Monday and Tuesday (9am-5pm) Key Responsibilities • Preparation of payroll • Collating weekly timesheets and holiday forms to be processed as required. • Preparing new starts • Posting journal entries • Petty Cash • Bank reconciliations • Oversee Accounts Payable & Receivable and Credit Control functions • Month end procedures • General administrative work as required and all other reasonable duties as required by the department. Required Skills • Knowledge of Sage 50 is essential • A confident understanding in all aspects of bookkeeping • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel. • Be highly organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Able to work flexibly and effectively under pressure • Courteous and confident telephone manner If you have the relevant experience and would like to be considered for the role, please send your CV as soon as possible to Coleen Farrell at GH Resourcing.
